My random thoughts on tonite’s episode.
How can they drop that bombshell of the super sperm and just leave us hanging? Oh man, the mind reels with the possibilities! All we can hope for is that this super sperm revelation somehow ties up all the major questions of the show.
Who thinks watching a chick get an ultrasound is riveting television? Are they going after the Oprah demographic now? Next up, Kate gets a pap smear.
OK, so the only character on the show that has any balls left is Jin. Sun started out showing some backbone by calling out Jack and finally asking the Dr. Other wtf is going on. But then she kind of killed it with the estrogen sob fest in the death lab. But Jin is definitely not taking shit from anyone. It was pretty sweet seeing him take off after patchy and take him out kung fu style. Twice no less. You go Jin!
This lame trick of killing people off, then bringing them back just plain sucks. Perhaps I should add it as #11 on the why lost sucks list.

Guys, sorry to disappoint, but for the first time I missed tonight’s episode. So I leave it in the capable hands of Nico, Laurent, JT, * Turkey, and everyone to discuss…
What happened?

Tonight was another yawner with the standard Lost fare. A mini jungle trek, someone getting sick and cured, Sayid making empty threats, and in the end, an “Other” making our intrepid beach dwellers look like total chumps. Yep, same old same old.
One interesting point I noticed. Not only do we now have the normal flashbacks, but increasingly we have flashbacks of previous episodes. They must be desperate for time fillers. So they just pop in an already aired sequence. Brilliant. I thought the plane crash was bad the first time around, it was even worse the second.
By far the best part of the episode was the preview for next week. “The beginning of the end” says the dramatic announcer dude. Only 5 episodes left in the season! Woohoo! Now that is something that made me really happy!

I’m really struggling to come up with something witty to say about the show anymore. It just plain sucks ass. It’s now just become a tired caricature of itself. Even the twists and turns that used to be so cool are predictable now. The show has a clear formula every that every episode now follows.
The 3 part Lost episode formula:
1. The main storyline: Usually a trek through the jungle. At some point the characters will fight each other and be chased by something to showcase the dramatic shaky camera work. If they get to where they were going, the next episode will be a trek back.
2. The pointless flashback: Generally just re-hashing a previously good flashback from season 1. There is really nothing worthwhile to add anymore, so the flashbacks must just be something for the actors to shoot when they aren’t in Hawaii.
3. The comedic sub-plot: Sawyer calling Hurley fat, and Hurley calling Sawyer dude. Or some variation of this theme. Comic gold I tell you.
Add a slow-mo music sequence at the end, and call it a wrap. Another Lost episode in the can.

Well guys, I knew it was just a matter of time before this happened. The producers of Lost and ABC have threatened to sue me for the content of this website and have given me 3 days to take it down. Apparently the powers at be don’t appreciate our comments and cricticisms of their show. Rather than spend the money to fight them, I am forced to comply with their demands….
