Someone commented last week that all you would really need to watch is the 30 second “previously on Lost” clip at the beginning of each show. Really that sums it up perfectly without the extra 59 minutes of filling. I think I may start doing that. Oh ya, tonite was another classic with your standard jungle walks, gun pointing, going on wild goose chases, and people turning down obvious opportunites to advance the story. I guess the true fans will be saying stuff like OMG! OMG! OMG! WIDMORE IS AN OTHER! or something like that. Personally I was just hoping the H-bomb hanging by a thin rope would drop and put an end to our misery.

So they first have an hour long show explaining the show. To me this is kind of like a bad joke – if you have to explain it, its not funny. A good story should stand on its own. Most telling was when one of the producers said “fans will love this season”. Well thats quite an assumption isn’t it? I think a more humble statement would have been “I hope the fans like this season”. But that’s the smugness we get with Lost.
Not really sure what to say anymore. I am pretty much speechless. I watched the whole 2 hours and nothing really happened. Or at least nothing big enough for me to remember after it was over. I guess we are going to retrace all the events of the previous seasons now from a different perpective/time huh? Great. Flash backs, flash forwards, flash presents, its all the same. First they had to get off the island, now they have to get back. Trekiking here and there across the island… Others with guns… Nothing has changed. It’s just hard to me to give a crap about these characters anymore its all become so absurd.
I look forward to the discussions which always provide more insight that I can in my disgruntled state of mind at this late hour.
